Prayers to Pray for Your Children
Your prayers for your children are powerful. You have direct access to God and He loves it when you talk to Him! He answers prayers so use these prayers to pray for your children.

PRAYERS FOR YOUR CHILDREN: IDENTITY AND BELONGING
God, I pray that my children are rooted and grounded in the breadth, length, height, and depth of Christ’s love. Ephesians 3:14-21
May they know that You delight in them. You are pleased with them, and sing love songs over them. You rejoice over them for good with shouts of joy. Zephaniah 3:17, Isaiah 30:18
There is nothing they could ever do that will keep You from loving them. Romans 8:38-39
I pray that every lie, insecurity, hopelessness, or fear planted by the enemy will be rooted up and replaced with God’s truth. Matthew 15:13

PRAYERS FOR YOUR CHILDREN: IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
In their relationship with you God, I pray they follow hard after You, seeking You. Psalm 63:8
People recognize them as “having been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13
May they choose to acknowledge You in all they do. Proverbs 3:6
PRAYERS FOR YOUR CHILDREN: EMPOWERMENT
Strengthen them with power through the Holy Spirit in their inner man so they are filled up with the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-21
Give them the understanding to know truth from lies to not be deceived with empty words. Ephesians 5:6
I pray they are anxious for nothing. They know their Father, Daddy, Provider, Healer, and Protector well.
With thanksgiving, they make their requests known to God in confidence that He will meet all their needs according to His riches in glory. He hasn’t failed them yet and won’t start now. Philippians 4:4-9
Help them to embrace a victorious mindset because You have already won the victory for them. II Corinthians 2:14
Greater are You, God, Who is in them than he that is in the world. I John 4:3-4
PRAYERS FOR YOUR CHILDREN: PROTECTION
Protect them, God. Everywhere life takes them, may they go and come in the Name of the LORD of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel as David did. I Samuel 17:45-47
No weapon formed against them will prosper. Isaiah 54:17
They defeat the accuser by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. May my children not love their lives so much that they fear death. Revelation 12:11
You are faithful, God. Strengthen and protect them. Go before them, with them, and be their rear guard. May they know that You are always with them and will never forsake or fail them. Deuteronomy 31:8, II Thessalonians 3:3
PRAYERS FOR YOUR CHILDREN: RENEWAL
You have begun a good work in them, God. As you make them new creations, may they lay aside their old self and be renewed in the spirit of their mind. May they put on the new self which is in the likeness of God and has been created in righteousness, holiness, and truth. Ephesians 4:22-32
God, give them the mind of Christ. I Corinthians 2:16
Help them to watch over their heart with all diligence for as a man thinks in his heart so is he. Proverbs 4:23, Proverbs 23:7
Help them to take thoughts captive and line them up with what the Word of God says. II Corinthians 10:5
Keep them from being doubleminded, rather steadfast of mind, standing firm on what God’s Words say about their situation. May Your Word keep them in perfect peace because they trust in You. Isaiah 26:3
I pray they guard their eyes and heart with all diligence, setting no worthless thing before their eyes. Psalm 101:3
PRAYERS FOR YOUR CHILDREN: RIGHT LIVING
I pray they speak truth. What comes out of their mouth are good words that edify and give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:25-29
Help them to be kind, tenderhearted, and always forgiving just as God has forgiven them. Ephesians 4:32
May they walk in love. Ephesians 5:2
Help them to be a fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. II Corinthians 2:15
Keep all immorality, impurity, or greed from being named among them. Ephesians 5:3
I pray all they put their hands to will be blessed. They use time wisely and put their hands to meaningful tasks and refuse to participate in unfruitful deeds.
The fruit of goodness, righteousness, and truth is evident in their life.
May they give thanks for all things, and do all things without grumbling. Ephesians 5:19-20, Philippians 2:14
I pray they are blameless, innocent children of God above reproach. Philippians 2:15
Help them understand what the will of the Lord is and stand firm in it. Colossians 1:9-10
They prosper and are in good health, just as their soul prospers. III John 1:2
With long life will You satisfy them? Psalm 91:16
May they be good, loving husbands and wives and love their children. Ephesians 5:22-33

Thank you, God, for my children. They are a wonderful gift. It is an honor to be their mama.
I pray You will grant all of these prayers according to Your riches in glory. Do exceeding abundantly beyond what I could ask or think in the lives of my children. I can’t wait to see these prayers played out in their lives.
They belong to You, and may You be glorified in their lives.
