Mom, push play to this video as I’m sharing 5 things I’d tell my younger self.

Mom, What 5 Things Would I Tell My Younger Self?

Stay Teachable

Keep learning and growing.  There’s always something new to learn or an area of your life that needs refining and maturing.

And when you’re stuck, get good mentors and coaches. Working one to one with a coach or mentor or accountability partner on your specific question or challenge propels you forward way faster than trying to figure it out on your own.  And it doesn’t feel so lonely.

If you are wishing for a coach, an accountability partner, another Mama to talk to, I am all yours.  Go to Renewed Mama Coaching and book your first coaching session today.

Take Time for Yourself, Mama

Give yourself the gift of taking time for yourself and taking good care of yourself. When you take time for yourself, you show up as the mom you want to be.  You feel better and you stay calm and steady, not as easily frustrated or short tempered.

Your children are watching.  When you take care of yourself, you show your children the value of taking care of themselves.

10 Habits of a Renewed Mama

Enjoy this episode of the Renewed Mama Podcast where I share a countdown of ten things to do to stay a renewed mama.

Check in with yourself throughout the day.

Talk with yourself and ask questions like: How am I doing today?  What am I feeling?  What’s going great today?  What do I love about my life? You’re crazy if you don’t talk to yourself.

Choose Gratitude

I encourage you to ask yourself the questions I suggested above, and whatever the answers are say, ““This is how I feel, but I am so thankful for…” Think of two or three good things about your life, your day, and your family that you are grateful for.

People Change

I am not the same person I was when I was in university, or when I got married, or when I had my first baby, or when I started my business to what I am today.  And that’s a good thing.  It’s OK to change as long as it’s for the good, right?  We are to grow and to mature and to get stronger.

I know you are always encouraging your children to grow.  So, encourage yourself to grow.  Encourage your husband as he grows.  Look for the good in the changes that are taking place such as how you are getting stronger, more mature, more patient, and wiser.

Now It’s Your Turn

Those are the five things I’d tell my younger self. How about you? Share in the comments what you would tell your younger self.  I’m going to be looking for your comments. Share this with another mama you know who could use the encouragement.
